Become a Support Group Facilitator
All NAMI support groups are led by trained co-facilitators who have lived experience with mental illness.
Groups provide a welcoming, safe, judgment-free space to share challenges, successes, and learn from one another. Nationally-recognized, evidence-based, peer-to-peer training is provided through NAMI MN.
- Connections Support Group is a support group for adults 18 or older living with mental illness.
- Family Support Groups provide ongoing support for families and friends of persons living with mental illness.
- Partner & Spouse Support Groups are for spouses, domestic partners, and significant others of a person living with mental illness.
- We are looking for support group facilitators to serve our diverse communities! If you are If you are bilingual, part of a faith community, a veteran, or from the LGBTQIA+ community, please fill out this form to learn how we can get your group started!
Join the Legislative Committee
The legislative committee is a volunteer group of those living with mental illnesses and family members working to influence legislation and public policies that affect the lives of children and adults living with mental illness, their families, and the professionals who care for them. The Legislative Committee meets monthly and is always looking for more volunteers to help in achieving their vision.
